03-11-2009 - As you have probably noticed, I have a new band called "Benoit Viellefon & on Orchestre". We are creating a buzz on the vintage / cabaret scene, you should check our first Ep and come to see it live.

31-10-2009 - JohnJohnrecords worked with the new blues venue "Charlotte Street blues" in Soho promoting events on mondays( House band: Snakebone) and tuesdays (Swing Mon Amour - Dance Club). The nights proved successfull with the public but the venue wants to change and stop it as from the 3rd of november. Swing Mon Amour will move in January to a thursday instead in another venue "Paradise" in North West London with free Dance classes and a late licence until 1am instead of 11.30pm. Does Everything happens for a reason?

14-02-2009 - I have been asked to join Skaville UK as lead guitarist, a ska supergroup with original musicians from The Selecter, Bad Manners, Prince Buster, Lee Scratch Perry, The Body Snatchers, Specials AKA... or the hall of fame of British ska. They have five Grammy Awards between the four of them! I said yes of course and bought a new stratocaster just to be able to play with the whammy bar.
