Review - THE TROJANS : COOL RULERS

Cool Rulers first hit the shops in 1996, & it contained the radio friendly single, The Grim Reaper. Hollywood had just released the Judge Dredd movie, & Gaz Mayall wrote the track, Judge Dread Vs Judge Dredd, in honour of the late reggae star, & for the fact that his name was not mentioned in the film credits.

By that time, The Trojans were beginning to play in a more rocksteady vein, and the album track Too Rude instantly became a big hit with Trojans fans. So much that it later appeared on The Best of The Trojans ( Moon CD 043 ) & what is still merrily played live by the chaps to this day.
